This EDFA module includes one Oclaro 974nm pump laser ( >380mW kink-free power LC95JA74-20A). We do not have exact pdf specification for it. This model was changed from Bookham LC95J74-20A (see 4th pdf link below) after Bookham changed name as Oclaro by inserting “A” in P/N, and recently Oclaro changed this model to LC95JH74-20A by inserting “H” in P/N(see 5th pdf link below). Basically they keep same kink-free power specification as before. The actual kink-free output power would be much larger than specification in most cases. As thumb of rule for Oclaro 974nm pump lasers, you may drive at operating power = kink free power / 1.1, as long as the drive current is not higher than max allowed current in specification (If your lifetime/reliability requirement is very high, then you’d better to make your own qualification research to verify if this rule is suitable for you).

There are two 900um fibers with two SC/APC connectors. There is 30-pin electrical connector on the module. 54pc samples were made in 2011 between April and August and mostly in manufacture sealed boxes, 5pc samples were made in Feb. 2009, and one sample was made in August 2008(see photo 7, photo 8, and last pdf link). Manufacture test data (see last 4 pdf links below) show that it offers flattened 15dBm output power over full C-band, and low noise figure around 4dB. We do not have other technical info and we do not have software codes/manual, you need figure out how to use it by yourself.
