It is same or similar to as the socket used in Newport 740 series and ILX LDM 4980 series 14-pin butterfly laser mounts (see last 2 pdf links below), you may be able to replace the sockets of Newport or ILX laser mount. There are three different pin version/profiles 5253-100-7-S/R, 5253-100-7-S1/R1, 5253-100-7-S2/R2, you have to check your PCB of laser mount to figure out which version fits your PCB. 

You may use them to make customized 7-butterfly laser mount, such as 10Gb EML. Price is for one 7-pin terminal/socket only.

It can fit standard prototyping boards and breadboards which pitch (space) is 0.1 inch (2.54cm). 


Ideally, you need a 5253-100-7-S and a 5253-100-7-R socket pair to test popular 14-pin butterfly lasers.

We do not have 5253-100-7-R at this moment. For lab project, you  can still use two 5253-100-7-S sockets mounted on a standard prototyping board or breadboard to test a  14-pin butterfly laser.
