Description: The BCP 420B ultra high speed laser transmitter is designed to be a source of high quality digital and analog fiber-coupled optical signals. In the digital mode, the optical output waveform conforms to the eyemask requirements of BellCore GR-253.

Following technical is not official (it was got from google) and is only for reference.

    CONDITION:

    Nice cosmetic condition. Tested -1.32dBm if press "Anolog In" front panel button (without RF input), -10.32dBm average output if press 'Digital In" front panel button, at 1.3um with SMF fiber jumper (about -10.0dBm if use MMF jumper at "Digital In") at our lab(-10.3dBm if RF digital input <0.7Vpp, -1.7dBm or -1.4dBm if RF digital input >0.7Vpp). Output power is very stable, stability < +/- 0.003dB within few minutes, even without warm up. You can increase output power by adjusting bias on rear panel. Comes with power cable (not fiber jumper). RF modulation is verified functional using our RF source of 1Mb to 1.3Gb at our lab.
