    We opened 14dBm LM-14LD, 550A/860D transmitter system, we found Ortel 1610B analog laser inside. With SC/APC fiber connector. We cannot find exact pdf specification for 1610B laser.     Series Narrowcast DWDM Transmitters provide high output power (+10dBm) from the Aurora universal chassis for long haul applications, and can overcome passive losses associated with optical broadcast narrowcast applications. 

    The AT3510 series high performance Analog Narrowcast Transmitters are a key element of Aurora Network's Passive HFC architecture and are designed for Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) applications for forward path transmission of narrowcast digital services. Each transmitter's wavelength is specified as one of 40 wavelengths on the 100 GHz DWDM ITU grid (ITU-T G.694.1). AT3510G transmitters incorporate advanced predistortion circuitry to enable transmission of up to 16 or 32 QAM modulated channels per wavelength. Transmitter output power is 10 dBm for maximum network performance and application flexibility. 

    The unique mid-plane packaging of the AT3510G features both a compact one-module-width design and an integrated ''back plate'' multiplexer which eliminates the need for a separate platform or shelf for a typically packaged multiplexer. 

    This high density packaging enables network operators to install up to 14 transmitters per 3RU chassis, all of which can be monitored remotely or locally from the power supply module. The compact design minimizes rack space requirements in headends or hubs and enhances deployment of traditional HFC, passive HFC and fiber to the home (FTTH) networks.

    10dBm transmitter by Aurora. We opened two module samples of AT3510-21-1-AS only to verify the contents, as shown at last. It includes a laser P/N: 21034579-21 (“21” means channel 21). Other samples of AT3510-xx-1-AS and AT3510G-xx-1-AS (In store product code OMS-Tx-1550-220C and OMS-Tx-1550-221C) includes Ortel 10dBm 1751A-xxBBSC10 laser, so Laser P/N: 21034579-21 is same as or equivalent to 1751A-21BBSC10 laser. Without manufacture test data, last two pdf links below are from other samples of same model in store product code OMS-Tx-1550-220C. The test data is almost same as the test data of Scientific Atlanta reverse transmitter (P/N: PDMT1500-08SD-SA-IT23, store product code OMS-Tx-1550-211C), so this should be also reverse transmitter.

    Scientific Atlanta Model # LLNT 253262 Transmitter. It should fit the mainframe of store product code: OTI-Tx-L-050C. We looked inside (see last photo below), it includes 10mW FLD5F7CZ laser (see datasheet at last pdf link below). With SC/APC fiber adapter. We opened one module, found there is Philips CQF933/3239 laser, see last 2 photos below. Laser specification would be similar to last pdf link below. We opened a sample module HLD7805-W05-AS-1, found there is JDS laser CQF933/2133, as shown at last photo. “33” in laser P/N means specific wavelength. We very believe CQF933/21xx (made in Netherland factory of JDS) is same as CQF933/208-19xxx (made in USA factory of JDS). We do not have correct specification for CQF933/21xx, but we believe CQF933/21xx is very similar to 10mW CQF933/408-19xxx. See CQF933/408-19xxx laser datasheet at last pdf link below. Since the transmitter output is 7dBm, so the laser is either 5mW or 10mW version. (CQF915/208, CQF915/28xx, CQF915/408 have same output power, so probably CQF933/208, CQF933/21xx, CQF933/408 also have same 10mW output power ?).

    We checked the fiber connector under fiber scope, it is SMF rather than PMF type. This Nortel laser is comparable to Lucent directed modulated laser D2570, D2526, D2555.
