The Photodyne 17XTF is a portable Fiber Optic Power Meter for the wavelength ranges of 820, 850, 1300 and 1550 nm. Indication of power in dBm or Watt. 9 V battery operation, 10 memory settings for store/recall button, “zero” button for the reference with background light, auto-off-function. Comes with a chosen fiber optic adapter.  “Analog Out” and “Tone Out” jacks. DC “Power in” jack.

Manufactured by Photodyne Inc. of Newbury Park CA, this fiber optic adapter set features 22 different 1” diameter x 3/8” deep black plastic adapter caps numbered in the 2011-2048 series, each with 7/8” inside diameter mount threading. Each cap has a different top connector of varying diameter and material (plastic, aluminum, brass, zinc, steel), some threaded, some non-threaded. Included are three blank (no top connector) #2005 caps. The adapter caps are housed in a 13” wide x 6 1/8” deep x 1 ¾” high urethaned pine box with hinged and latching lid, and gray interior foam insulation. The bottom foam insulation is pre-cut for insertion of the adapters. The set has been used and appears to be in good overall condition, but is not complete- ten of the pre-cut adapter inserts in the bottom foam are empty. The bottom foam is showing some disintegration under the adapters from prior usage/age.
