ILX Lightwave LDM-4980 butterfly laser diode mount: to drive up to 26-pin butterfly laser diode module, it can be also used to drive optical receiver module. The cable from CASE port comes with 7 connectors and labeled as: SENS +, SENS -, TEC+, TEC-, THERM+, THERM-, GROUND, this port is for external case temperature control. There seems a 8-pin receiver module which is labeld as 40G Rx, It would be researched by formal Nortel laser design department, see the 5th photo below.
