Internal fiber end is not accessible, so you cannot use it for optical transmission test. With SC/PC fiber connector in 3mm cable at external fiber end of spool. See year 2002 datasheet in 1st pdf link and year 2000 datasheet in 2nd pdf link below.

    CONDITION:
    Fiber roll looks ok. Tested fiber length is very close to 10.56km by OTDR at our lab, which is within instrument accuracy, considering the factors of group index of refractive deviation (we set Neff as 1.4682) and extra fiber pigtail length spliced on each end of fiber spool. So fiber length 10.56km is approximately verified. Fiber attenuation (dB/km) was verified good. See our length and attenuation test result at the label of last photo below.
