With FC/SPC connector on 900um buffered fiber. Model 2860C is same as model R2860C (prefix “R” means receiver in Lucent/Agere products). RF connection: K-Connector (K-Connector is a trademark of Anritsu Company), it is SMA-compatible . DC-coupled output according to the datasheet of 1st pdf link below. Note: External dc block required on RF output. Electrical leads of one sample are measured as 9.96mm, double length of the specification of 1st pdf link below. Description The R2860C receiver module, part of the R2860 receiver family, incorporates a high-speed planar PIN diode and a GaAs PHEMT preamplifier to provide exceptionally high performance. The unit provides high bandwidth and sensitivity to operate with long, dispersive fibers, plus wide dynamic range for operation over a variety of loss budgets. High transimpedance coupled with a nonquantizing limiting buffer output provides high gain while limiting the maximum output signal swing, thereby simplifying the interface to subsequent stages.     CONDITION:
    new in original product case, With actual manufacturer test sheet (see last three pdf links above). We tested one sample approximately. It matches specification of transimpedance and output voltage reasonably, and shows good waveform shape on analog and digital scope. In the test, BCP 1.31um optical transmitter (choosing analog electrical input option) is modulated by sine signal from 5MHz-623MHz, optical average power 82.3uW is launched to the receiver module.
