This spool was acquired from Bookham (formal Nortel laser design group). It is either LEAF or standard fiber, but we more believe it is LEAF fiber after we analyzed original buyer and maker info. Spool length and insertion loss (including one connector loss) are tested in our lab as shown in last photo below. Maker info: LITESPEC Optical Fiber L.L.C. - joint venture of LITESPEC Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Lucent Technologies and Sumitomo Electric Lightwave, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric Industries. It was formed in 1989 to produce single mode optical fiber and is located in Research Triangle Park, NC. See LEAF fiber datasheet as reference only.
