We checked the fiber connector under fiber scope, it is SMF rather than PMF type. This Nortel laser is comparable to Lucent directed modulated laser D2570, D2526, D2555. The pin-out should be standard, chech pdf links below for reference. We can remove laser and verify the working condition upon your request.
