1pc may be reserved for a customer.. The PT-40A is a -9 dBm sensitivity, single-output PIN-based receiver module for OC-768. 38GHz electrical bandwidth, Anritsu-V female output connector. See pdf links below for more info. Specification: Bandwidth, Wavelength, Sensitivity, Responsivity, Gain 38, 1200-1650, -9, 0.65, 140 We removed it from 40Gb transponder module: BBTR4005, see last three photos below, and also see 40Gb transponder datasheet at the 2nd pdf link below.

    We removed it from 40Gb transponder module: BBTR4005, see last three photos below, and also see 40Gb transponder datasheet at the 2nd pdf link below. It has never been soldered. Fiber may be quite short (The photos below are from sold samples, and actual fiber length will be different), but we fusion-spliced with long SMF-28 fiber pigtail with FC/UPC connector with very low splice loss (normally 0.00dB-0.03dB). Sampled is tested OK at 20MHz at our lab. producing reasonable gain and output at 20MHz. We do not have time to make more complex test at higher RF frequency 1.3GHz, since our digital scope is not easy to use.
