Spliced fiber SMF-28 is not designed for 800nm wavelength, please make your own judgement if it is OK for your work. DIL module package. We do not know full P/N, To be safe, we assume it is medium power version SLD-381-MP (see specification at 1st pdf link below) rather than high power version SLD-381-HP (see specification at 2nd pdf link below). With Superlum PILOT-2 laser controller of our Store Product Code: OTI-LDC-070C, we tested it at 140mA. See our test results at last 6 photos below. Center wavelength is about 813nm. There is near 10dB-lower 2nd peak at 1628nm. Tested total power is about 2.22dBm, so actual output power in fiber around main peak would be about 2dBm after deducting 2nd peak power. Our OSA instrument is not fully calibrated, so this test result is only approximate.
