Dispersion: about -270ps/nm. With two SC/PC adapters.  It is majorly designed for TRUEWAVE fiber or other non-zero dispersion shifted fibers. You can also use for standard fiber if you do not care about dispersion slope. The product label does not indicate C or L band,  but one customer has tested and verified dispersion value match the dispersion data on product lable at 1550 nm, so this type of DCM is for C-band. Notice for the buyers who would like to cut short piece of fiber for special project (One buyer already did this from a DCM sample, seems no problem):
In all Lucent/OFS DCM, there is soft glue over the fiber spools. The glue feels like very soft plastics, seems easy to take off. But fiber is fragile, when you take off the glue, fiber might be broken. This similar glue is widely used as protection material in fiber module, such as er-doped fiber spool.
