Dispersion trimming for any fiber. 

Notice for the buyers who would like to cut short piece of fiber for special project (One buyer already did this from a DCM sample, seems no problem): In all Lucent/OFS DCM, there is soft glue over the fiber spools. The glue feels like very soft plastics, seems easy to take off. But fiber is fragile, when you take off the glue, fiber might be broken. This similar glue is widely used as protection material in fiber module, such as er-doped fiber spool.
