Ortel model: 2860F is same as model R2860F (prefix “R” means receiver in Agere products).

900um-buffered fiber, the fiber connector is BSCII/UPC(it looks like SC/PC connector, but regular SC adapter cannot match this BSCII connector). The fiber section from receiver module to fusion splice is about 28cm.

These modules were made in Sept. 2006, and shipped from manufacturer Ortel to its customer Alcatel in Dec. 2006, see the packing slip of 144 units at the 5th photo below which included 1 year standard manufacture warranty and also "Certificate Compliance" at the bottom of this packing slip. This customer Alcatel did not use them and did not open the sealed package(We opened limited qty of packages to check their cosmetic condition).

Packed in original new product case by manufacturer, but electrical leads are with solder, see the 7th-12th photos below. Each product was sealed by antistatic-warning yellow label on antistatic bag and also antistatic-warning label sealed on paper box. We very believe the manufacturer Ortel soldered these modules on systems, added BSCII fiber connector by fusion splice, and tested them for special customer, then desoldered them and Ortel sealed them in manufacture packing with antistatic-warning yellow labels on antistatic bag and paper box. The electrical leads look good and quite straight.

CONDITION:

With individual manufacture test data, see last pdf link for 4-samples and also last photo below. We tested two samples approximately at our lab. It matches specification of transimpedance and output voltage reasonably, and shows good waveform shape on analog and digital scope. In the test, BCP 1.31um optical transmitter (tried both analog electrical input and digital electrical input) is modulated by sine signal from 1MHz-623MHz, optical average power either 82.3uW or 700uW is launched to the receiver module.
