We guess it is VIT5000 prototype (before releasing VIT5200 product) 10Gb long-reach transponder. Input fiber is verified not broken, checked by fiber fault locator. We open the module only to try to figure out what is inside. It includes optical modulator (we believe it is 10Gb mod) and high power CW laser. Modulator is not working (red light cannt pass it, checked by fiber fault locator).
