D1871A High power 1310nm 10Gb/s DML, as shown at the manufacture test data (see last 3 pdf links below). Test data sheet shows it is for DSF (dispersion-shifted fiber) fiber.With PM bare fiber with FC/APC connector. Agere model: 1871A. Made in 2001. Ortel was sold to Agere (Lucent) , then to Emcore. Agere/Lucent prefix "D" before the model number to all digital modules. See more info at the 1st pdf link below for datasheet of similar-model 1861A (D1861A) with lower power and SMF. Comparing between the manufacture test sheets of 1861A and 1871A, 1871A output power increases much sharper with drive current than 1861A (about double laser slope efficiency). 186A can produce minimum average optical power 4mW at Ith + 30mA, it can get 12mW at max drive voltage 2V. While 1871A can get about double power at Ith + 30mA or at max drive current 100mA correspondingly, this is also verified by our test result at our lab. We do not have any other technical info. You need do your own search and research for more technical info.
