The MetroCor fiber is a very interesting NZDS fiber, because it is characterized by a negative dispersion across the EDFA bands. This design allows increased reach of chirped or directly modulated laser sources. These low-cost sources are mainly used in metropolitan networks, hence the name MetroCor. Other fibers sharing the same principles are the Pirelli Widelight and the Corning SMF-LS. Dispersion between 1530nm and 1605nm -10 <= |D|<= -1 ps/nm*km

    CONDITION:
    Looks good cosmetic condition. There are minor cracks on plastic cover, as shown at the 1st photo below, but the cover and handle still feels reliable enough. With original full fiber length. Fiber length is verified by OTDR approximately at our lab. Spool loss is tested ok at our lab, approximately matching manufacture test data, see last photo below.
