Low insertion loss. We checked many samples, it seems all of them meet < 0.2dB insertion loss at both 980nm and 1550nm. Without fiber connectors, with 250um bare fibers.

Operating Wavelength Range: 965-995nm, 1535-1565nm

980nm / 1550nm WDM coupler (is also called pump-signal combiner). Must-have component for 980nm-laser-based EDFA/EDWA 1.55um optical fiber amplifier.  

Description
AOC standard 980/1550nm fused WDM are produced by excellent performance fused biconical taper process. The products are Telcordia GR-1221-CORE qualified, and RoHS complaint.
