15 to 16 dBm saturated output over 1520 -1570nm approximately (see test result below, about 0.7dB extra jumper connector loss is involved in the test, including 0.3dB SC/APC connector loss at front panel). Fully-saturated output>15dBm if input power >4.2dBm within this wavelength range. Out of 1520-1570nm window, the saturated output is gradually reduced (see test result at 1510nm, 1580nm, and 1590nm. We open the instrument enclosure, and take the output SC/APC connector directly into HP 81521A optical head, Then we get higher power value than OSA. near 16.5dBm around 1530-1534nm, 16.03dBm at 1550nm. Since the optical head is only approximately compared and calibrated by other HP lightwavemeters at lower power, the test result may not be very accurate, but we believe it is still quite accurate. Fiber jumpers on the photo below are not included in this sale, but available at extra cost. Tested good over C-band (still good even if a little outside C-band), at >4.2 dBm input of tunable source. See test result in photos below(we have more photos at other wavelengths). There is about 0.7dB extra jumper connector loss in this test, so actual EDFA output would be about 0.7 higher than the test result (Other smaller error factors in test systems may not be considered).
