Spool length and insertion loss (including one connector loss) are tested in our lab: 2.7dB at 1.55um, 10.570km. The extra loss may be due to fusion-splice loss between two difference fiber types. We can fusion-splice again for low splice loss at extra $30. See year 2002 datasheet in pdf link below.
