From front panel, user can adjust output power by changing attenuation at optical output(see 11th photo below), adjust allowed minimum input power (For example, P in Trigger Level: Pump on -10dBm, see 12th photo below). In our lab test, on EDFA front panel: Set Atten=0dB, allowed minimum input power -10dBm. See our lab test result of gain, noise figure, and output power at -8dBm, -2dBm, and 4dBm input power at last 2 pdf links below on sample 1 and sample 2, respectively, and you choose suitable sample accordingly (noise figure result is not so accurate at high signal input). For sample 2, output power 22dBm is verified at 4dBm and -2dBm input over C-band. But sample 1 only shows max 21dBm output. Gain is quite flat over C-band at -8dBm, -2dBm, and 4dBm inputs.
