The PT-40A is a -9 dBm sensitivity, single-output PIN-based receiver module for OC-768. 38GHz electrical bandwidth, Anritsu-V female output connector. See 1st pdf link below for more info. One industry application example: It is used as key element of 40Gb transponder module: BBTR4005, see 40Gb transponder datasheet at the 2nd pdf link below. It is very simple to use, but you need be careful, not apply higher or wrong voltage, and also need avoid static. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Followings is our test note for this module when we made sample test about a year ago: 1.85mm V-connector does not compatible with SMA. Only compatible with 2.4mm and 1.85mm connector. I made V – SMA RF jumper by soldering.
