Pin pitch is 0.1", so it fits standard proto-board and breadboard. You can use them to make 14-pin butterfly  laser mount (for popular 14-pin butterfly lasers).

Note: The leads of this 5253-100-7-S2/R2 are only 1/8” , 0.125” long. The diagram in 1st pdf link of specification is for general features. 0.25” long leads is true for  5253-100-7-S/R, not for this 5253-100-7-S2/R2.

It would be same as the socket used in Newport 740 series and ILX LDM 4980 series 14-pin butterfly laser mounts (see last 2 pdf links below), but you may not be able to simply replace the sockets of Newport or ILX laser mount. There are three different pin version/profiles  5253-100-7-S/R, 5253-100-7-S1/R1, 5253-100-7-S2/R2, you have to check your PCB of laser mount to figure out which version fits your PCB.
