Dispersion: -122ps/nm. With two SC/PC adapters. It is majorly designed for TRUEWAVE fiber or other non-zero dispersion shifted fibers. You can also use for standard fiber if you do not care about dispersion slope. Since product label does not indicate C or L, this DCM seems for either C-band only or for both C-band and L-band. Fiber length of actual item is tested about 1.37km by OTDR. Loss of actual item will be tested before shipping (or earlier upon request). Sample tested result in our lab: IL=1.70dB at 1.55um including one patchcord loss (connector may be cleaned well), length ~ 1.30km by OTDR (We did not adjust the refractive index to match this fiber index value. The refractive index may be slightly higher than standard fiber due to more Ge-doing in core, but it should be close). Maker: Lucent. (Lucent fiber division was sold as OFS later) Notice for the buyers who would like to cut short piece of fiber for special project (One buyer already did this from a DCM sample, seems no problem): In all Lucent/OFS DCM, there is soft glue over the fiber spools. The glue feels like very soft plastics, seems easy to take off. But fiber is fragile, when you take off the glue, fiber might be broken. This similar glue is widely used as protection material in fiber module, such as er-doped fiber spool.
